The EK125HH, a robust hydraulic hammer from CZM Foundation Equipment, is mounted on a CAT323 Next Gen base and features a Short Mast design, making it ideal for projects with limited headroom. This machine is equipped with a free-fall hydraulic impact hammer, which brings a host of benefits to pile driving operations.
One of the key advantages of the free-fall system is that it operates on gravity, resulting in a maintenance-free life cycle for up to half of the machine’s lifespan. Additionally, the lower installed power leads to reduced fuel consumption. The design eliminates the need for impact reaction absorption by the hydraulic circuit when the ram strikes the pile, enhancing durability and allowing the EK125HH to work with any soil bearing capacity and meet various refusal specifications.
The EK125HH boasts an improved ratio between piston weight and total hammer weight, ensuring higher efficiency than similar-sized machines. The hammer also features two external hydraulic cylinders that lift the ram to a controlled height, simplifying visual inspections and maintenance access.
